Sven Markelius (1889 - 1972)Sven Markelius was one of the most famous architects in Sweden during the 20th century. In 1952, when ”Pythagoras” was created, he worked with Le Corbusier, Oscar Niemeyer and Bengt Lindroos among others in an architectural group designing the UN-buildings in New York.
The fabric (8 years ago) was £350 a metre so I couldn't afford it. I recently however stumbled upon some the same original linen for a fraction of the price and I've now framed some of it for my living room. I absolutely love it and can't believe I now own some. I shall enjoy it for years and years. (My bottom 2 photos show design books with it on)
